In the early days of ther ZX Spectrum, the Box and Game Art left much to be desired. A cheap cassette, that had a very thin insert, giving the basic instructions to load the game. The only colourful thing about it being the bright picture on the front to get your attention.
Then, as time went on, the Spectrum becoming more successful as home computing began to be more affordable, more and more inventive ways were found by the Game makers to grab our attention. BOX SETS, with not just basic instructions, but teasing gameshots, whole books of instructions, giving you not only loading information but more. Novellas giving background stories of the game, and lots more besides.
So... this thread is for All of your Best (and worst) Box and Game Art, that you either think were technically brilliant, gripping reasds, OR bring back memories.
